Hawkins\Brown to design Festival Square for Manchester International Festival
Based in Cathedral Gardens, we’ve designed a new space for the Festival to host free live music, DJ sets, tours, and great food and drink.
From 1st – 18th July, Festival Square will offer a chance to reflect, reconnect, relax and celebrate. Across three stages, there’ll be live music nights curated by Jamz Supernova, DJ Paulette, Mr Scruff and BBC Music Introducing in Manchester.
To be announced in June, the round-the-clock live schedule will include a mix of big names, emerging acts, MIF Sounds artists and a dozen-plus acts selected through the Festival Square Open Call.
Like all MIF venues, Festival Square will be a fully COVID-secure site.
