First homes for Meridian Water given greenlight
The first 300 homes at Meridian Water have been given the green light by Enfield Council’s planning committee.
The proposals form part of Meridian One, the first phase of a major regeneration scheme estimated to deliver 10,000 new homes.
Regeneration specialist Vistry Partnerships is also working with the council to bring forward a planning application for up to a further 700 homes within phase one later this year, including 50% affordable housing across the Meridian One site.
Construction of the new homes is due to start in July 2021 and the first homes are due to be completed by Q4 2022.
Our proposals for Phase 1a at Meridian Water will create a new neighbourhood with a distinctive character, with new carefully-designed streets designed around extensive green space. Attractive homes, inspiring leisure facilities and world-class public spaces will sit alongside space for makers and creators, enabling people to work and play close to their homes.
