Queen's University Belfast, Student Centre\

A new student centre that will become the heart of the university campus

Queen’s University Belfast has a long history of excellence in teaching, research and contributing to the educational, economic, social and cultural development of Northern Ireland. Hawkins\Brown are collaborating with local Belfast architects RPP to create a new student centre that will become the heart of the university campus. It will bring together the Student Union and student support teams, along with new facilities to enhance the student experience.

The building has been designed as a simple, flexible container that will become a beacon for Queen’s University life; for staff and students. It will showcase the University and the support it provides; a holistic, cutting edge approach to service provision, with a central location for all non-faculty services on campus, staffed with a knowledgeable and helpful team, ensuring that each enquiry is dealt with from beginning to end whilst providing the best possible customer service.
