Princess Anne's Royal Visit to the Rayne Building \

Princess Anne's royal visit to the Respiratory Research Group at the Rayne Building to unveil a plaque commemorating the opening of laboratories.

UCL Respiratory is made up of approximately 70 clinicians and scientists, comprising three world-class research groups within the Division of Medicine, engaged in fundamental and translational research into fatal conditions of unmet medical needs affecting the lung.

The UCL Respiratory laboratories in the Rayne Building have undergone a multi-million pound renovation programme, completed in October 2015, to provide state-of-the-art facilities. This redevelopment represents a significant moment for the department and the Division of Medicine as a whole.

To mark the significant event, Princess Anne  was invited to unveil a commemorative plaque. Upon her visit, she also toured the research facilities and met the key people involved in the renovation, as well as principal investigators and junior research staff.
