Life Skills National Careers Week\

As part of National Careers Week Hawkins\Brown was invited to Wymondham High Academy in Norfolk to host a series of careers-focused presentations across the year groups. We discussed the role of the architect within the industry and how to become an architect after leaving school.

The students responded well to the presentations, asking some very interesting questions not only careers focused, but also about life at university and working in London. We hope that from these sessions we have inspired those students interested to further explore careers in design and/or the construction industry, and also help demystify the role of an architect.

The feedback has been very positive to date, and we have been offered the opportunity to return to the school to carry out a series of workshops. We look forward to doing so.

A great day. Thank you Wymondham High.
