Hackney Town Hall Tours - London Festival of Architecture June 2017 \

Hawkins\Brown are pleased to be partnering with the London Festival of Architecture and the London Borough of Hackney to offer tours of their restoration work at Hackney Town Hall.

Tours will take in the newly refurbished public spaces of Hackney Town Hall, a fine example of a high quality municipal architecture, rich in local memories, and originally completed in 1937 to designs by Lanchester and Lodge. The tours will be led by Chloe Marshall, interior designer at Hawkins\Brown, who led the recent restoration programme, which after ten years restores the building to a pristine condition and has created new space to serve the public and council. Tours start outside main entrance and to include Reception, Atria, Marriage Suites and Council Chamber as well as Assembly Halls, although itinerary may be subject to change.

The tours are part of the London Festival of Architecture, and are being made possible through the participation of Hackney Council and Hawkins\Brown. They are free to join, but advanced booking is essential.
