Negar graduated with a first class Honours from the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow. Her research paper on American Urbanism was nominated for the annual RIBA President’s Medals Award. She has experience working in both New York and Tokyo on a wide range of projects and sectors.
Since joining Hawkins\Brown, Negar has gained extensive experience working in the Higher Education sector, including projects for the University of Oxford, Manchester, Westminster, London Southbank and UCL.
Outside of work, Negar is a member of the RIBA Academic Validation Panel, which allows her to travel to Schools of Architecture, both in the UK and internationally, to monitor professional standards. Negar has further maintained her links with architectural education as a visiting critic at the Bartlett School of Architecture.
In her spare time Negar enjoys travelling and a range of sports, and is currently a member of the London Fencing Club.
