Jake Attwood-Harris \

Jake advises on all aspects of sustainable design at Hawkins\Brown, finding creative solutions by developing project-specific tools and strategies.

Jake recently joined Hawkins\Brown having previously worked at international multidisciplinary practices including Dar and Foster + Partners. He continues this approach through his work with CIBSE Energy Performance Group, the BRE, UKGBC, and many others. As a technical tutor at the University College London, Jake has gained a unique insight into the relationship between education and practice, and the cutting-edge thinking and technologies that will drive development in the future.

Jake works at the boundary between architecture and engineering; developing key strategies and targets through all work stages. Through this work he collaborates with colleagues from across the industry and has developed a broad knowledge of concepts from mechanical systems to masterplanning. His designs use the natural environment wherever possible, and modern technology where it counts.

Outside of work, he helps to build and run festivals. He also enjoys “hacking” products to make them more fun, slack-lining and inline skating.
