Prior to joining Hawkins\Brown, Jai worked in Singapore for a large international practice on a number of commercial, retail and residential schemes around Asia. He has also previously worked for an established residential practice delivering estate regeneration projects in and around London.
Jai studied at the Welsh School of Architecture in Cardiff, focusing particularly on Post-Industrial regeneration. His bachelors’ project examined the adaptive re-use of Swansea’s forgotten copperwork complexes while the Master’s thesis investigated the regeneration of Marseille’s industrial inner-city districts, focussing on the rehabilitation of a local flea market using digital fabrication and flexible building fabrics.
Outside of the office, Jai enjoys cycling and travelling, and is often trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
