Humzah is Hawkins\Brown's Architectural Apprentice. Graduating from Manchester School of Architecture with a first-class honours degree, he won the Deans Award and Stacy Greenaway Prize for outstanding studio portfolio.
Humzah has a keen interest in design focusing on transforming communities and inspiring meaningful change. His thesis project explores the intersection between the built environment and it's possible link to London’s Rising epidemic of Knife Crime, achieved by de-constructing how rough areas are perceived by looking at their ‘barriers’ and territories.
He is also particularly interested in new adaptable materials and technologies and the application within the built environment.
In his spare time, Humzah enjoys film photography, going to the gym and visiting art galleries.
