Helen joined Hawkins\Brown as an Architectural Assistant after graduating from the Oxford School of Architecture with a distinction.
Helen received an award for her thesis project which outlines how four protagonists successively occupy Derek Jarman’s Prospect Cottage in Dungeness as it deteriorates over a period of 100 years. The proposal is an experimental strategy deployed to rethink the afterlife of all buildings across a desolate landscape.
Helen spent her Part 1 experience specialising in the design of bridges and infrastructure and the development of the public realm projects worldwide at a firm located Dorset’s coastal town of Bridport.
Outside of work, Helen is a grade 8 cornetist playing in concerts across the country including the Albert Hall. She also enjoys playing squash and tennis and has been previously employed as a buggy driver at Wimbledon.
