Francesco completed his Part II studies with a distinction at the University of Westminster, exploring his strong interest in the potential of new architectural typology to transform urban experience and reshape contemporary culture.
Francesco is currently involved in exciting workplace and complex higher education projects for the practice.
His passion for architecture has always intertwined with his passion for photography, with shots already published in the AJ. He is always keen to expose how architecture affects peoples’ everyday lives and at Hawkins\Brown, his skills have been already used to document key projects including the new Tottenham Court Road Station and Park Hill residential development in Sheffield.
In Francesco’s MArch final year, his project ‘The 24/7 L-Earning Spot Hub’ received 1st prize at the international ‘Rethinking the Future IDSA 2016 Awards’. He proposed the creation of a new economic model for the city of Shanghai.
In his spare time, you can find Francesco travelling, cooking or snowboarding in the Italian Alps.
