Francesca Roberts \

Francesca studied at the University of Liverpool for both her degree and masters. Her dissertation, which looked into the history of architectural education, was nominated for the RIBA Presidents Medal. She gained a distinction for her part 3 qualification at RIBA North West.

Francesca recognises the importance of the social aspects of architecture and the built environment. For the last four years, she has contributed to the Open City Architecture in Schools Programmes volunteering for various educational projects. She received an Education Ambassador award in recognition for her contribution to Open-City’s education initiatives.

Before joining Hawkins\Brown, Francesca worked at Wilkinson Eyre where she led elements of the design and delivery stages of RIBA award-winning projects.

Outside of the office Francesca loves live music, good food and anything crafty. She enjoys sewing and recently completed a pottery course.
