Claire Goldthorp \

Claire has a diverse background of Engineering, Architecture, Illustration and Marketing. Her Part I at Nottingham University, in Architecture and Environmental Design, gave her a solid background to develop her interest in sustainable design throughout her career.

Her MArch was at the Birmingham School of Architecture, where she gained a distinction for developing a working circular knitting machine with its own twitter following (amongst other studies). Her dissertation focussed on Lefebvre’s social space, another keen interest of hers. In her spare time she undertook a historical study of Birmingham Architecture working closely with RIBA West Midlands and B&FCAAT. Her final Part II design for an Icelandic Wool Centre was praised in the AJ as well as winning the RIBA West Midlands Drawing Prize.

In her spare time Claire enjoys illustrating for indiepop bands.
