Chris joined Hawkins\ Brown after working for several award winning practices based in Edinburgh and London.
He graduated from The University of Edinburgh. His final year thesis project entitled ‘The Nautical City’ investigated the relationship between Lisbon and its Estuary, looking at how architectural interventions carefully positioned around the cities edge can facilitate in bringing back a lost cultural identity to local communities.
Drawings and explorations of Chris’ Masters work was featured in ‘Salt Cities: Drawing the City of Unsure Ground’ - a public exhibition in both Edinburgh + Lisbon as part of the Lisbon Triennale.
Outside of work Chris enjoys various sports including supporting his local team Hibs, fishing and camping on his trips back up to Scotland and photography.
