Chris joined Hawkins\Brown following his Part I studies at the University of Sheffield, where he returned for his Part II, graduating with Distinction.
His time at Hawkins\Brown has focused around housing, mixed-use and cultural development across the UK. This practice-based experience fed into his award-winning MArch dissertation investigating the UK housing market and policy-based proposals to improve the quality and design of the UK’s Housing stock. He has a strong belief in architecture’s ability to enhance the urban environment through an understanding of people and place. Chris has also guest tutored and reviewed at the University of Sheffield, and has been an invited speaker at the RIBA.
Chris can be seen cycling around London with his camera when out of the office, or enjoying a summer evening walking the dog in Peckham.
